The Perfect Step-Up Driver

The Jade is engineered to be the ideal next step for players who have outgrown their first beginner discs but aren't quite ready for high-speed, heavy distance drivers. The Opto Air version enhances this transition by providing a lighter total mass, allowing you to reach targets between 85m / 280ft and 110m / 360ft without needing maximum power. It provides a reliable "S-curve" flight that helps developing players see the results of a proper throw.

Precision for Developing Arms

Versatility is at the heart of the Jade. Whether you are throwing into a light tailwind or navigating a technical fairway, the Opto Air Jade reacts with a predictable, slightly understable flight and a soft, reliable finish. Because it is PDGA Approved, it is a trusted choice for tournament players who need a lightweight option for finesse shots or long uphill drives. The micro-bubble technology ensures the disc retains its flight characteristics through seasons of play and impact.

FAQ

Yes, the Jade is the natural successor to the Diamond. It offers a bit more speed and a slightly more stable finish, making it perfect for players whose arm speed has increased and who need a disc that can handle more power while still being easy to throw.

Opto Air utilizes our premium, highly durable Opto plastic but introduces micro-bubbles into the plastic matrix to significantly reduce the overall weight of the disc. This advanced lightweight design allows players with slower arm speeds to generate more snap and achieve a much faster release. It is the absolute perfect choice for developing players, juniors, or anyone looking to effortlessly push their drives past the 100m / 330ft mark with less physical effort.

Yes. Because Opto Air discs are lighter, they require significantly less energy to reach their full intended flight path. This naturally results in a slightly more understable flight and massive glide compared to their heavier counterparts. While they are exceptional tools for effortless distance in calm conditions or massive tailwind bombs, players should be aware that their lighter weight makes them slightly more susceptible to being pushed off-line by stiff headwinds.

Customers praise this lightweight fairway driver as "perfect for learning" with consistent flight paths. Beginners appreciate the easy distance and control at slower arm speeds. Reviews highlight the natural S-curve and steady performance. One customer said it "flies long and true for those with slower arm speed." Rated highly with minimal criticisms.

Jade 145-149g Opto Air

Bought as a distance driver for low speed hand beginner. Her favorite disc so far. Natural s-curve with minimal effort - for higher speeds keeps turning and turning. Quite soft with very nice feeling.

this disc is perfect for learning driving, because it shows directly your progress in nose and hyzer angle, if it flies straight or turns directly

Love the Jade Opto Air

I'm a beginner and find the Jade Opto Air to be easy to use. Regardless of how I through this disc it always seems to consistently fly steady, with few exceptions and then only because of my poor technique.

Easy Distance

Playing for 6 Weeks now so the light weight seems to really help me to get it working as planned, had some nice flight paths and it helped me to some birdies.
Love to throw it.

I bag 3 Jades

I have 3 Jades that I bag and the Jade is my go to driver. The Jade fits my arm speed perfectly. I'm a lefty backhand player and when I need to turn the shot to the left I use my beat in Jade. When I want it to go straight then I'll use the newer one. I'll just keep buying Jades as long as they keep making them.

Easy to use driver

I have played for some years and strived to find a good driver. This is the best driver I have had so far, even though this differs from player to player. In my case, I can through it a pretty long distance, still with good controle.
