I made a custom Diamond with a photo of my adorable dog. The quality of the print is top notch, but even better is how instantaneously I fell in love with throwing the Diamond disc. It’s a new favorite to throw! Will definitely order more customs in the future!
I am a big fan of this disc in this plastic. What is surprising is my current theory on where that super grippy rim can best be served: What if it was only on the bottom of the rim versus having it on the entire outside? Where I found there to be the most benefit was how this super grippy outer rim grabs the BASKET and not necessarily the chains. In fact, it seemed to have more of a bouncing-off effect on the chains for me, but it saved multiple putts by how the bottom of it grabbed the basket's cage. Also, as an approach disc, that added grip on the bottom can make it stop dead on certain terrain, which is a game changer; and there's nothing else like this on the market.
While it may defy all rules of injection molding, my vote would be to see if you can focus that super grip only to the bottom of the rim. I agree with what some others have said about the Zero Hard main plate allowing for a clean release; I like keeping that idea. It would not be very beneficial if this super grippy material were the entire bottom of the disc. (And actually, a plain-old Zero Hard version of the Peak would be awesome too!)
Even as is, I love this ChainGrip combination as is, but I personally would love to test a version that explores having only a super grippy bottom rim. I am curious whether my notion of having a normal Zero Hard outer rim would decrease the bouncing-off effect I've been experiencing. Thanks for all this fun innovation!
Threw my personal best 405ft using a forehand throw. Felt overstable, really need a fast/strong arm to get it out there. Lives up to 14 speed tag it’s given. Very fun to throw!

The Max Wild prototype has been very impressive thus far. Usually with these types of “easy” distance discs, they need space to ride a big turn to get a ton of distance. On the few test throws I did, I threw on slight hyzer, it stood up to flat and just went straight for the majority of its flight. I got 440 ft on one of those test flights. My furthest ever is 450 with a big anhyzer release w/lightweight. I really appreciate that this disc can handle decent power (I’m 390-400ft for most power shots). Very impressive again, and intrigued by how it performs in the future.
Great feeling disc and it does go far and I love it for my max distance open shots!! Shipment was delayed and I got it later than expected but I got it just in time, a day before a tournament that had a distance competition.
My friend won the distance competition with it. He threw 576 feet!!
Great flyer and it bombs, personally I love the ballista in gold plastic but its stable for gold plastic other ones were too understable and became rollers in gold plastic. The max wild allows for me to have less fear in losing my ballista. Now I just need a ballista pro in max plastic
As a relatively new player, this disc is super fun to throw! It gets a lot of distance even with a lower arm-speed and is a great disc for practicing a hyzer flip
Disc flys as described. Very trustworthy with midrange and drives I’ve already been using it for every course I play. Big fan of the design as well.
Flew incredibly well. I usually throw around 300-330’ with my current farthest flight being a grace at 343 and a Bolt on hyzer flip at 360. The Max Wild was able to beat both without flipping at all putting up a 398!!! Missing 400 by just a few feet and setting a new Personal Record for me.
It worked great and fit perfect in my bag. My bag has never been this clean
I am 60+ with 260 max distance, Bought two disc; Pure putter and Glory fairway driver. Like the disc flight/performance; already had other Pure so it was a known commodity; the Glory is very good as well. Photos came out as shown on-line; high quality. My bad; the print on Glory is most darker background and so I can already tell it could be easy to lose in the woods. Didn't think about that in advance.
