FAQ
Gold Line is our premium opaque plastic blend, engineered to provide the perfect harmony of exceptional durability and superior tactile feel. By combining the robust foundation of our Opto line with a specialized polymer additive, Gold Line delivers an incredibly secure, confidence-inspiring grip in all weather conditions while ensuring your go-to drivers and midranges stand the test of time.
While both are premium, tour-level plastics, they offer slightly different experiences. Gold Line provides a slightly softer, more opaque feel with enhanced grip compared to the stiffer, translucent Opto plastic. Because of this unique polymer blend, Gold Line discs tend to "beat in" just a touch faster, allowing players to unlock beautiful, sweeping glide and highly workable flight paths more quickly.
Customers praise this disc golf disc for its exceptional glide and reliability, calling it "one of my favorite discs" and "best disc in my bag." The Gold plastic offers excellent grip and durability. Shoppers report it flies straight, holds lines well, and helps beginners gain distance. One customer was disappointed receiving a heavier disc (164g) than desired.
- The glide is incredible. It had helped me find distance I was struggling for as a beginner.
- The River Gold has the best grip and flies as intended, either a nice fade or 300 straight.
- Very nice disc. Its super stable. Glides very well and goes super straight.

One of my favorite discs. Good for straight shot
I've only been disc golfing for about a year now and honestly, my slowly growing disc bag is all over the place, but one through line that has emerged is Latitude 64 discs. The River is the most reliable and frequently thrown disc in my bag. The glide is incredible. It had helped me find distance I was struggling for as a beginner. Laditude 64's Gold plastic is my favorite by far. The grip and durability is amazing. Five stars all the way.
I've been a big fan of Latitude 64 for a while now, and my recent purchase of three new discs just reaffirmed why. The Gold plastic feels incredible in the hand—great grip, super durable, and consistently reliable in flight. I put in a general request for specific weights, and the team did an excellent job fulfilling it. That level of attention to detail is really appreciated!
I always keep several Latitude 64 discs in my bag, and the Diamond remains one of my go-to's. It’s perfect for finesse shots and controlled distance.
Highly recommend Latitude 64 to anyone building a bag with quality plastic and thoughtfully designed discs. Thanks again for the great service and products!
It feels good in the hand and i is a nice disc, i have played DiscGolf one year now i and i always had trubble when i was gona Throw a driver bur with this gold river it is easy and fun. Love Latitude 64 discs..
As a beginner, I was recommended this disc. And after trying different discs from friends, I have to say that this one is definitely in my top 3.
Really liked it...but lost my whole bag two days after receiving it...
A 160 g gold river is my go to disc. Can’t get the same performance with any other disc given my arms speed and strength. I searched everywhere on the Internet only to find that no one had any in the 160 to 163 gram range. When I shopped the latitude site, I did not notice that latitude discs are the only one that carries the bottom range up to 164. So, I purchased hoping to get a very lightweight 160 or 161 gram gold river. Unfortunately, I did not get that.I got a 164 g disc which was not the weight I wanted and could’ve gotten anywhere else.
Hi Tim,
Thank you for your review.
I'm sorry about that. The next time you want a specific weight on your disc, you can always leave a note on your order saying what weight it is you wish for and the warehouse staff will pick that out for you if we have it. :)

When I started playing DG, I was given a River and an A4. Been playing for about a year now, and they're both still my go to disc. The River Gold has the best grip and flies as intended, either a nice fade or 300 straight on a rope.
Very nice disc. Its super stable. Glides very well and goes super straight. Holds line very well
I was pleasantly surprised that my new Gold River was actually a better performing disc than I expected. It will handle light winds and had completely predictable flights in all release angles. It is my go-to disc for narrow lane controlled fairway drives and long approaches. The best is last...the glide. In a tailwind or downhill it out distances 90% of the discs in my bag with more control than the remaining 10%. The Gold plastic has a really nice feel and grip.
I’m a RHFH dominant player, and this thing is great for tunnels and turnovers. Holds any line I put it on.
met my expectations
