The Ultimate Glide Machine

The Fuse is a staple in the bags of Latitude 64 fans worldwide, and the Opto Air version brings that performance to an even wider audience. By trapping tiny air bubbles inside the plastic, we’ve created a disc that feels lighter in the hand and requires less power to reach its full flight potential. For many players, reaching a basket at 75m / 250ft becomes significantly easier when you don't have to fight the weight of a traditional 177g midrange.

This disc is a secret weapon for anyone looking to simplify their game. It excels at "finesse" shots where a smooth release is more important than raw power. If you find that your midranges are fading too early or falling out of the sky, the Opto Air Fuse is the solution to keep your lines straight and your scores low. Because it is PDGA Approved, you can trust its performance on the local course or on the biggest tournament stages.

FAQ

Opto Air utilizes our premium, highly durable Opto plastic but introduces micro-bubbles into the plastic matrix to significantly reduce the overall weight of the disc. This advanced lightweight design allows players with slower arm speeds to generate more snap and achieve a much faster release. It is the absolute perfect choice for developing players, juniors, or anyone looking to effortlessly push their drives past the 100m / 330ft mark with less physical effort.

Yes. Because Opto Air discs are lighter, they require significantly less energy to reach their full intended flight path. This naturally results in a slightly more understable flight and massive glide compared to their heavier counterparts. While they are exceptional tools for effortless distance in calm conditions or massive tailwind bombs, players should be aware that their lighter weight makes them slightly more susceptible to being pushed off-line by stiff headwinds.

Highly praised midrange disc golf disc with exceptional glide and straight flight. Customers said it "flies straight" and "holds any line you put it on." The lightweight Opto Air plastic is durable, easy to throw, and ideal for beginners and low-power throwers. Great for approach shots and wooded courses. Minor concern about green color visibility in grass.

  • Just glides that little bit further and seems to work well for someone who does not have a lot of power
  • Lots of glide. Holds any line you put it on. Fantastic disc for those wooded shots.
  • Easy to throw, reliable, and very tough. I smashed a few into a tree and not even a scratch.

Buy fuse! =)

Bought as a distance/approach for low speed beginner in 145-149g. Still testing but quality and grip is more than good. Pretty deep, definitely on the understable side.

Opto air plastic ftw

I love the Opto air plastic. Easy to throw, reliable, and very tough. I smashed a few into a tree (on purpose of course ... not) and not even a scratch. I love the fuse, I tend to use it a lot.

At first I struggled a lot to get used to it’s light weight, but now the disc does whatever I want without any extra effort. Smooth sailing with this one. Will get a heavier one for a nice commparison.

First throws are promising

I have tried the Fuse only few times so far with both fore an backhand and it seems to do what is expected. So far it’s been a good buy. Color green is rather difficult to find in the grass so the color options should be more bright or even multicolored.

air fuse is incredible

I am a 58 year old female who is relatively new to the sport. The fuse has been my go to forehand flick disc. Well, the air fuse is a dream to use for that. Just glides that little bit further and seems to work well for someone who does not have a lot of power. Highly recommended. Of course being a fuse who would have thought otherwise eh :)
