The Ultimate Control Driver

The Fury is a staple for players who want a driver that works with them, not against them. In its Opto Air form, it becomes the ultimate finesse tool. For players reaching targets between 80m / 260ft and 105m / 345ft, the Opto Air Fury provides the necessary lift to stay in the air without requiring maximum exertion. It excels at technical woods shots where you need a disc to flip up to flat and glide straight through tight gaps.

Predictable Performance

Despite its understable nature, the Fury offers a dependable finish thanks to its fade rating of 2. This ensures that your long turnovers don't just dump over, but instead land softly and accurately. Because it is PDGA Approved, tournament players can rely on the Opto Air Fury as a dedicated tailwind driver or a long-range roller. The micro-bubble technology ensures the disc feels substantial in the hand while providing the benefit of a lighter total weight.

FAQ

Yes. The lighter weight (150g–160g) makes it much easier for beginners to generate the speed needed to keep the disc flat and prevent it from fading too early.

Opto Air utilizes our premium, highly durable Opto plastic but introduces micro-bubbles into the plastic matrix to significantly reduce the overall weight of the disc. This advanced lightweight design allows players with slower arm speeds to generate more snap and achieve a much faster release. It is the absolute perfect choice for developing players, juniors, or anyone looking to effortlessly push their drives past the 100m / 330ft mark with less physical effort.

Yes. Because Opto Air discs are lighter, they require significantly less energy to reach their full intended flight path. This naturally results in a slightly more understable flight and massive glide compared to their heavier counterparts. While they are exceptional tools for effortless distance in calm conditions or massive tailwind bombs, players should be aware that their lighter weight makes them slightly more susceptible to being pushed off-line by stiff headwinds.

Customers praised this disc for excellent distance and control on wooded and open courses. Shoppers called it "predictable" with "good flight" and noted it "holds an angle very well." The lighter weight appeals to older players. The softer plastic provides good grip, though some mention it may be "a bit soft."

  • Great distance and easy to control. Go-to disc for wooded and open courses.
  • Holds an angle very well. Better distance than I thought.

Exactly what was needed

Been playing disc golf for a 1.85 years at 64 years old with 6 herniated discs. Cannot get a running start. So from a standing T off the FURY is predictable, in as far as distance n glide. The plastic seems like it's holding upto everyday play, reasonably well, though a bit soft. Play in a heavily wooded course.

Opto air fury

First throw in a ballfield right before a round it did exactly what I wanted it to do. 2 times during that round I had to shape a shot to go right and finish left and it was amazing.
I want a lightweight optoair bolt now! I'm 50 years old and have been playing for 6 years. I'm the air bounce king unfortunately so I'm finding discs to work for me. Lat 64 is all I throw. Good stuff
