Plastic: Gold

Gold Line is our premium blend plastic. The start of the mix has been the same brand plastics used in Opto Line but we added a different polymer to give it better grip without losing the excellent durability of Opto Line.

FAQ

What are the overall benefits of Latitude 64 Gold Line plastic?

Gold Line is our premium opaque plastic blend, engineered to provide the perfect harmony of exceptional durability and superior tactile feel. By combining the robust foundation of our Opto line with a specialized polymer additive, Gold Line delivers an incredibly secure, confidence-inspiring grip in all weather conditions while ensuring your go-to drivers and midranges stand the test of time.

How does Gold Line compare to Opto plastic?

While both are premium, tour-level plastics, they offer slightly different experiences. Gold Line provides a slightly softer, more opaque feel with enhanced grip compared to the stiffer, translucent Opto plastic. Because of this unique polymer blend, Gold Line discs tend to "beat in" just a touch faster, allowing players to unlock beautiful, sweeping glide and highly workable flight paths more quickly.

Customers praised this disc for reliable understable flight, excellent for anhyser shots, rollers, and hyzer flips. "Reliable every time" for navigating corners and obstacles. The gold plastic offers good grip. However, one customer reported sharp flashing on the disc's edge. Best suited for lower speed arms or beginners seeking distance.

One of the best high anhyser discs I've thrown. Reliable every time.
Good grip and got the distance with a good S line flight.
Reliably understable. Beginner bomber or roller.

Fun disc to play around with more for lower speed

Fun disc to play around with more for lower speed arms in my opinion. Very flippy for me. Makes a good roller disc and high hyzer flip turn overs.

What I was looking for

I enjoy gold plastic very much cuz of the grip. it isn't goldice cuz that is the best but it feels good. it was also the disc that fit my growing form. I needed something a bit more flippy to finally get the distance with a good S line flight. and got it dyed wich is looking awesome aswel!

Reliably understable. Beginner bomber or roller.

gold fury

For some reason the flashing is really bad on this disc. Extremly sharp edge on the bottom.

Thank you for the review.
I'm so sorry to hear that though. Please send me an email to store@latitude64.se and I'll see if I can do something to compensate you for this.
