FAQ
Retro is our most accessible and affordable plastic blend, engineered to deliver exceptional grip and a classic, tactile feel right out of the box. It is the perfect entry point for newer players building their first bag, or for seasoned competitors looking to test out new molds without a premium price tag.
Because Retro is our baseline plastic, it is specifically designed to "beat in" much faster than our premium Opto or Gold blends. As the disc takes hits and wears in from natural course play, it gradually becomes more understable. This accelerated seasoning process allows players to easily unlock beautiful, sweeping turnover shots and massive glide, making it an incredible tool for shaping highly workable flight paths.
This distance driver disc excels for moderate arm speeds, offering excellent control and distance. Customers said it's "easy to throw" with "lots of control" and a comfortable grip thanks to the retro plastic. It flies straight with minimal fade, making it ideal for beginners and those seeking better control over higher speed drivers.
- Easy to throw and lots of control! I feel like I have a lot more control with this disc.
- Great easy to use distance driver for beginners. Grip feels really comfortable.
- Nice disc for my arm speed.

This is my first Latitude 64⁰ purchase and I'm completely impressed! The Retro Burst Sapphire driver just fills a spot in my bag that I needed. It's a little slower speed than my previous drivers and its actually a much better fit for my moderate arm speed. I could fling the higher speed drivers alright, but I feel like I have a lot more control with this disc and I still get the distance.
It's and easy disc to grip and it has a clean release.
I'm not picky about the exact coloring, but I bought the red/yellow for high visibility and hoped mine would have similar coloring to the website. Each disc is unique and mine is mostly red. Still easy to see and flies great. The looks aren't a deal breaker at all. This is likely going to be my primary distance driver for a long time.
Nice and easy
Nice disc for my arm speed.
Great easy to use distance driver for beginners especially for me. Grip feels really comfortable 'cause of the retro plastic. It flies pretty straight for right handed backhand with minimal fade at the end. I recommend! Looking forward to buying a few more!

Retro Burst Sapphire
Is the sapphire good fore forehand
Hi Axel,
Thank you for your question.
I would chose a different disc for forehand throws, maybe a Honor? But it's different from person to person what you like.
