Want to try a distance driver but find the fastest models hard to throw? Opto Sapphire is made to bridge that gap. It combines a slim, comfortable rim with good glide and a lighter weight than many traditional distance drivers. Sapphire is a good next step after Diamond or Jade when you want to work on longer drives. It suits players with moderate arm speeds who want more speed while keeping a familiar, comfortable grip.

Sapphire suits developing players who want to step up from fairway drivers to a distance driver with a comfortable rim and good glide.

Choose Jade for a slightly slower fairway driver. Sapphire is faster and a good option when you're ready for a distance driver.

You don't need professional-level power, but Sapphire is still a faster disc than Diamond or Jade. Your throwing speed affects how it flies.

I think this is my new favorite driver

I think this is my new favorite driver. It flys as advertised, very easy to throw and you really have to try to overthrow it even with its lighter weight! I have a medical condition in my legs and I’m in leg braces so I’ve been adjusting and slowing my approach these past few years and it’s really nice to throw far with a slower approach. Great glide too! I went from driving with mostly sidewinders and a straight driver. I’m very pleased that this disc is even better for me!
