The Ultimate Control Driver

The Saint was developed to be one of the most versatile control drivers on the market, and the Opto Air version brings that effortless distance to a wider range of players. By distributing weight through our micro-bubble process, we’ve maintained the disc's structural stability while reducing the total mass. For players aiming at targets between 75m / 250ft and 105m / 350ft, the Opto Air Saint offers the perfect balance of incredible glide and controllable speed without requiring massive arm power.

Effortless Distance for All

Glidelines are the hallmark of the Saint. Whether you are navigating a long, straight fairway or shaping a gentle turnover shot, this disc reacts to your throw with remarkable poise and a predictable, soft finish. Because it is PDGA Approved, it is a vital tool for tournament players who need a lightweight driver that won't compromise on a clean release. The Opto Air plastic ensures that even at a lower weight, the disc feels premium in the hand and stands up to the rigors of competitive play.

FAQ

The core mold shape is exactly the same, but the Opto Air version uses our micro-bubble process to lower the total weight. This allows players with slower arm speeds to generate more disc velocity, resulting in easier distance and maximum glide compared to a heavier standard version.

It is ideal for beginners, intermediate players, and anyone looking to increase their driving distance without forcing their throw. It is also highly favored by players who prefer lightweight, premium plastic for better control on the fairway.

While lighter discs are naturally more responsive to wind, the Opto Air Saint retains its signature straight-to-fading flight path when thrown cleanly. The weight-shifted distribution ensures the disc maintains its structural integrity and predictable finish.

Customers praised this disc golf disc for its excellent grip and plastic quality that "feels a lot like gold." Shoppers appreciated the downwind accuracy, achieving 75-80m with light fade. While ideal for lower arm speeds and straight flights, some higher-power throwers found it too light and flippy, requiring extra hyzer.

  • Really like the feel of the plastic, feels a lot like gold. Great grip
  • 75-80m with a light fade has brought a few more baskets into range. Excellent disc.
  • Like my River with less turn and more consistent. It is her new go-to straight flier.

Take the Saint down wind

The opto Saint looked alive and ready to go when I unpacked the box and the yellow hue of happiness came shining through. I don’t have a strong throw so the intention was for this disc to enhance my downwind accuracy and distance. Personally I am stoked. 75-80m with a light fade has brought a few more baskets into range. Excellent disc. Thank you.

Opto Air Saint

This is a very nice disc. To be honest it was a little to Light and Flippy for me. So my Grand Orbit Grace still handles that spot in my bag. I ordered the Orbit Saint Pro to get the light turn and gentle yet consistent finish (fade) that I was looking for at fairway speeds and distances. I gave my wife the Opto Air Saint and she immediately preferred it to her River. She said "it is like my River with less turn and more consistent.". It is her new go-to straight flier. I throw 375 at 80% and it just required to much hyzer for me to get it to fly straight. For my lower arm speed wife this disc is a dream disc!!! It flies so beautiful for her that I think I got slightly jealous.
