Project Grip Rive

The Latitude 64° Rive is the powerhouse of distance drivers, designed for players who need a disc that can handle immense power without turning over. With the introduction of the Project Grip edition, this performance is now paired with an advanced tactile experience. Developed to solve the challenge of maintaining a firm grip on high-speed rims, the Project Grip line features a unique dual-plastic construction that ensures the disc feels "locked-in" while the rigid core provides the structural integrity needed for consistent flights.

This version of the Rive is the ultimate choice for competitive players who demand a premium connection to their equipment. Whether you are facing a rainy tournament day or need maximum traction for a massive forehand drive, the tacky surface ensures a consistent release and minimizes slips. The Rive maintains its signature overstable flight—offering great glide with a dependable, hard fade—making it a versatile distance driver that delivers both distance and the peace of mind that it will never flip.

Features and Benefits

  • High-Speed Efficiency: Speed 13 and Glide 5 allow for massive distance for players with the arm speed to unlock its potential.

  • Firm Core Stability: The specialized inner blend ensures the disc remains torque-resistant, providing a rock-solid 3.5 fade at the end of the flight.

  • All-Weather Performance: The "Project Grip" surface is specifically designed to maintain its tacky feel in rain, cold, or extreme heat.

  • Overstable Reliability: Built to fight the wind and provide a predictable finish, shot after shot.

  • Consistent Release: The dual-blend construction prevents the wide rim from feeling "soft," allowing for a clean and predictable exit from the hand.

  • Advanced Ergonomics: Combines the smooth NexEdge feel of the Rive with a revolutionary surface for the ultimate grip experience.

  • PDGA Approved: Fully certified for professional and amateur tournament play worldwide.

FAQ

Project Grip is engineered with a revolutionary blend that offers the best of both worlds: an exceptionally grippy, tacky surface paired with a stiff and stable core. This ensures you get a highly secure feel in your hand without the disc ever feeling soft or flimsy, providing the ultimate foundation for a clean, powerful release.

It is designed to excel in all conditions. Project Grip is the ultimate choice for players who demand absolute confidence in unpredictable weather, as the specialized surface maintains its secure grip even in rain or cold temperatures. This guarantees surgical precision and a predictable flight path when you need it most.

Customers praised this disc golf disc as "the best forehand disc" with exceptional grip quality. The innovative plastic feels "incredibly comfortable" and provides superior grip compared to other options. Shoppers noted it performs "similarly to Grand plastic" but with a softer, grippier feel. Minor concern: slightly slippery when wet but easily resolved.

Love project grip!

I am relatively a beginner, but decided to buy both the Rive and Sweep in Project Grip, and they have become my favorite discs. I already knew before that they were good discs, but with the new plastic in Project Grip, they are incredibly comfortable discs to throw and have a really good grip and they are the first discs I have managed to throw under par with, so I am happy.

Project grip Rive

Flies similarly to my factory second Rive, but with a slightly softer feel and a bit more grip than the Grand plastic

Excellent Grip

The grip was better than I was getting with some 3rd party grip solution without any mess or overuse or spill. When it got wet it was a little slippery but just a quick wipe with a towel and it was back to normal. Very interesting plastic, after throwing it, it even made my other discs seem more grippy, probably an illusion!
