Grand Orbit Glory

The Latitude 64° Grand Orbit Glory is the disc you reach for when you cannot afford for your drive to turn over. Developed to be the overstable anchor in the Royal Line's fairway category, the Glory bridges the gap between a midrange and a distance driver. It is designed to be pushed hard, rewarding power with a straight, pushing flight before a forceful and predictable fade kicks in.

As a flagship member of the Royal Line, the Glory showcases our most advanced manufacturing. The Royal Grand plastic provides an exceptional, high-end grip that gives you full control over your release in any weather condition. Combined with NexEdge and NexFeel technologies, every Glory features a silky-smooth rim that eliminates sharp edges. Whether you’re carving technical hyzer lines or need a trustworthy disc for a forced flex shot, the Glory delivers a level of performance that is truly glorious.

Features and Benefits

  • Overstable Workhorse: Speed 7 combined with heavy stability makes this the go-to disc for tactical, reliable fairway shots.

  • Torque Resistant: Built to handle fast releases without flipping, making it ideal for players with high arm speeds.

  • Consistent Range: The 5-glide rating ensures that while it is overstable, it still pushes forward for impressive fairway distance.

  • NexEdge Technology: Provides a polished, smooth rim that feels comfortable and ensures a snag-free release on every throw.

  • Premium Royal Plastic: Our most durable blend, ensuring the Glory maintains its "beefy" flight characteristics over time.

  • Forehand Favorite: The stability and clean rim make it an excellent choice for controlled forehand flicks and approach shots.

  • PDGA Approved: Fully certified for professional and amateur tournament play worldwide.

FAQ

Royal Grand is designed to reach a "sweet spot" of performance. While the plastic is highly durable, it is more tactile and flexible than our stiffer Royal Clear blend. This means that after a few rounds of hitting the fairway, the disc will "season" into its truest flight path, losing a touch of its initial out-of-the-box fade and becoming a perfectly comfortable, reliable partner for years.

The standout feature of the Royal Grand line is the premium manufacturing finish. Every disc features our NexEdge and NexFeel technologies, which completely eliminate the sharp "flashing" or rough edges found on standard discs. This results in a silky-smooth rim and a tacky, confident grip that ensures a clean, snag-free release in any weather condition.

Overstable fairway driver praised for reliability and stability. Customers said "super reliably overstable" with predictable fade. The plastic quality received high marks. Some noted it requires higher arm speed to achieve full flight potential, with beginners finding it "pure beef." Excellent for wind and flex shots.

One of my all time favorite discs

This glory has been with me three years and I treasure it. Almost always thrown side-arm it gives me great control and distance. Royal plastic can really take a beating but still keep consistent flight characteristics. Will never be out of my bag.

Stunning and a beast

In the beginng I didnt like the disc because it was too overstable and distance became too short.

But!!!! After I got more arm speed and can throw around 50 feet farher i tried use Glory, it works amazing and flies for days and fades perfect as number said, now.i bag 3 i my bag. I use em for forehard and backhand.

Recommend everybody to try it, but give it.time..you will love it.

Amazing Flight

Amazing flight

This disc does exactly what I wanted it to do. It performs very well in wind. I’m looking forward to taking it to the collegiate national tournament next week.

Very overstablefairwaydriver

For me who throws 90-100meters, this is pure beef. Starts to hyzer/fade out really early. For me it goes 60-65 meters at the same time as it goes about 15 meters to the left RHBH. Maybe it needs quite some seasoning in or I need to get alot more speed and spin in my throws to use it. To me this flies as overstable as my 9/5/03 Thoughtspace Athletics Coalesce (Firebird).

Dependable Fairway

Great feeling Disc, with a dependable fade up to 100m distance.

I‘ll be interested how it beats in if it can replace my rather straight Explorers.

Grand Orbit Glory

Love the hand feel. My new go to forehand disc.

Immediately when I touched the disc, I knew this was going in my bag. Royal grand plastic is the best plastic in the business in my opinion! The Glory has a more shallow depth perfect for my stubby fingers and the stability I need above the Explorer. I love this Royal line!

Reliable 7 speed

It is a super reliable 7 speed fairway driver, great for forehand and backhand flex shots. The plastic is amazing, it feels really nice. I can throw it hard on a flex line and I know it’s coming back. Being able to count on a fairway driver that you can flex is super important.

Solid disc

I haven't used it much, yet, but this is a disc I see in regular rotation for me for sure.

Very similar disc to Innova Banshee (a disc I love, but getting harder to find).

Plastic feels like it will hold up very well.

I cannot wait to throw this one some more.

Thanks for the review! We're glad you like the disc!

great disc

I was looking for a replacement of my overstabil fairway driver, and I found it, sort of. The plastic is great, and the flight is what I was lookning for.. on my backhand. I have not managed to get the desired flight out of my forhand with this disc, though this might not be the disc's fault.

Straight flight with a heavy overstable finish. Plastic feels amazing as always.

Quite Overstable

Very overstable, but that's a good thing! You will be able to pump this thing and it will not turn at all. It's exactly what it needs to be.

OK

Compared to competitors the quality feels alright. Plastic felt less premium than even the Lucid DD plastic. Flight is as advertised.
