Grand Mighty

The Latitude 64° Grand Mighty is engineered for players who value precision over raw distance. Falling into the sweet spot of fairway drivers, the Mighty is designed to be a "workhorse" that you can reach for on almost any hole. Its flight characteristics allow it to hold a straight line for a long time before the dependable fade kicks in, making it one of the most predictable discs in the Royal Line.

Crafted in our premium Royal Grand plastic, the Mighty feels as good as it flies. By using NexEdge and NexFeel technologies, we’ve eliminated sharp edges and created a rim that is silky smooth, ensuring a clean and consistent release. Whether you are navigating a narrow tunnel in the woods or need a reliable disc for a controlled approach, the Mighty delivers the stability and feel that serious players demand.

Features and Benefits

  • Fairway Precision: Speed 7 makes it manageable for all skill levels while still offering enough speed for significant distance.

  • Easy to Shape: The slight turn (-1) makes it an excellent choice for players who want to practice their angle control and hyzer-flips.

  • Reliable Fade: A Fade of 2 provides enough stability to handle moderate wind without being overly aggressive.

  • NexEdge Technology: Provides a smooth, polished rim that feels broken-in and comfortable from the very first throw.

  • Premium Royal Plastic: Our most durable blend, ensuring the Mighty maintains its flight characteristics season after season.

  • Versatile Utility: Perfect for straight shots, soft turnovers, and accurate placement drives.

  • PDGA Approved: Fully certified for professional and amateur tournament play.

FAQ

Royal Grand is designed to reach a "sweet spot" of performance. While the plastic is highly durable, it is more tactile and flexible than our stiffer Royal Clear blend. This means that after a few rounds of hitting the fairway, the disc will "season" into its truest flight path, losing a touch of its initial out-of-the-box fade and becoming a perfectly comfortable, reliable partner for years.

The standout feature of the Royal Grand line is the premium manufacturing finish. Every disc features our NexEdge and NexFeel technologies, which completely eliminate the sharp "flashing" or rough edges found on standard discs. This results in a silky-smooth rim and a tacky, confident grip that ensures a clean, snag-free release in any weather condition.

Grand Mighty (White)

Feels heavy in the hand, heavier than its weight of 175g (which is correct, have checked it). The Plastic feels stable, firm and is comfortable to grip.

The flight is a bit more overstable than one would think from the flight numbers, more overstable than the River.

Pushes straight

I got the prototype from the Royal Box. Was less stable than I was expecting. I was thinking it would be like an explorer but maybe a tick more stable. It's actually a tick less, so I think the numbers they came out with are probably accurate. It's what the Brave was advertised as, but the Brave to me is more like 7, 6, -2, 1. It (Mighty) doesn't really turn for me but doesn't fade hard either. Just kinda pushes straight. So, good for that purpose!
