Let us introduce the Fire, the newest addition to our Midrange lineup. The first release in Royal Grand plastic is set for April 1, and we’re extremely excited to finally share this mold with you.

Fire is an overstable midrange built for control and reliability. With flight numbers 5 3 0 3, it’s designed to handle power, wind, and confident shot shaping. Whether you throw backhand or forehand, the Fire is meant to give you that dependable finish every time.

Flight
The balanced overstability stands out, making the Fire very trustworthy. It can handle a lot of power without turning into a complete meat hook. This makes the Fire ideal for controlled hyzers, flex lines, and wind-fighting midrange shots. If you’re looking for a midrange you can trust when accuracy matters most, the Fire is built for exactly that role.

Feel
One of the defining features of the Fire is its flat profile. The top sits low and flat in the hand, giving it a very confident grip. This shape makes it especially comfortable for forehand throws, but it also feels incredibly clean for backhand releases. The flatness adds to the overall control of the disc and helps it come out of the hand fast and clean.
Backhand & Forehand Control
During testing, one thing stood out immediately: how well the Fire performs for both throwing styles. The flat top and overstable flight make it a natural choice for forehand players who want a midrange that feels secure and won’t flip. At the same time, backhand players will appreciate the dependable fade and torque resistance, making it a great utility midrange for a wide range of situations.

The Role in the Lineup
The Fire fills an important slot in the Latitude 64° lineup. While many midranges are built for glide and straight flights, the Fire focuses on reliability and control. It’s the disc you reach for when the wind picks up, when the line demands a strong finish, or when you simply want a midrange that can handle power without hesitation.

The Fire brings a new level of confidence to the midrange category, and we can’t wait for players to start throwing it.

Best Regards,
The Latitude 64° R&D Team
