A First Look at What’s Coming

A First Look at What’s Coming

Project Grip — Our Boldest Plastic Yet Reading A First Look at What’s Coming 4 minutes

We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes at Latitude 64° — testing, tweaking, and dreaming up what’s next. As we head into the 2026, we’re excited to share a look at what’s coming up.

This year is shaping up to be a big one, with new molds, new plastic, and the return of old plastic. Here we go!

New Molds on the Horizon
At the heart of our 2026 plans are three brand-new molds - each developed with a specific purpose, feel, and flight in mind.

Mighty
With the Mighty we envisioned a true workhorse fairway driver with a very straight trustworthy flight. The goal was to fit right between the more overstable Glory and the more understable Brave in the Royal Line-up, making it a disc that has a place in most disc golfers bags.

We started the design process looking at the classic Explorer design, but we have made significant changes. Mighty will have a slightly shallower rim depth, a smaller dome and the Royal treatment will as ususal offer an incredible feel in hand.

Our most lasting impression after throwing it is: “Wow, this disc really wants to push forward at all angles.“

Fire
Meet our new overstable midrange. Our vision with this disc was a shallow, comfortable grip combined with a healthy dose of overstability. We wanted it to feel comfortable for both backhand and sidearm shots. If you have the power you can definitely make it fly, but always with a very, very dependable fade.

Amber
Amber started with a vision of combining features from two popular Latitude 64 discs; the speed of the Grace paired with the understability and glide of the Diamond. The result; a speed 11 distance driver which does not require max power to fly far.

Compared to the Sapphire, the Amber have a slightly wider rim (21 mm) and more understable flight. If your throwing power is at the 200-300 ft (60-90 m) range the Amber will be a great choice for speedy distance.

The Amber will belong to the Easy-to-Use Line meaning it will always be available in lower weights. It’s goal weight will be 160-164 grams, but it will be possible to make it both lighter and heavier.

The first chance to try the Amber will be via the Trilogy Challenge events happening around the world starting from May.

Flight Rating: 11 | 6 | -3 | 2

Introducing Royal Clear
When we started development of the first Royal discs back in 2019 we had a vision of a translucent plastic which would accompany the solid-colored Grand plastic. In 2026 it’s finally time to introduce it: Royal Clear! We wanted it to bring something new to the table.

Compared to Grand plastic, we wanted our Clear plastic to have a slightly stiffer feel, fly more overstable, look great and of course have great durability. We believe we checked all the boxes.

Look out for Royal Clear releases coming in both stock stamp and as team series discs.

Returning Favorites in Limited Runs
Alongside the new stuff, we’re also bringing back a couple of fan-favorite concepts in special 2026 releases:

Zero SuperSoft Returns
The softest putter plastic we’ve ever made is making a comeback. Zero SuperSoft will return for selected molds, giving players that ultra-flexible, touch-friendly feel, and no-skip-ground-play that many of you have been asking for.

Zero Gravity Expands
Our superlight Zero Gravity line will continue in 2026 with limited runs in two molds: Grace and River. Expect effortless glide and easy distance in a lightweight package.

Best Regards,
The Latitude 64° R&D Team
