Project Grip — Our Boldest Plastic Yet

Project Grip — Our Boldest Plastic Yet

The Story of Sweep Reading Project Grip — Our Boldest Plastic Yet 2 minutes
We’ve been cooking up something new in the Latitude 64° lab — and it’s finally time to let it fly: meet Project Grip. This one’s all about confidence in the hand and control in the air.

So what makes it different? In short: Project Grip discs are extremely grippy without sacrificing structure. Project Grip merges two of our premium plastics into a totally new blend, creating a surface that feels incredibly tacky while keeping a firm, torque-resistant rim and core underneath. In your hand, it feels locked-in — like it’s ready to rip the moment you reach for it. If you like your plastic to have both grip and guts, this one’s for you.

Built for Control, Designed for Trust
We know how much confidence comes from feel. Project Grip’s surface gives you that extra traction, even in humid or cold conditions. And when it's time to power up? That stiff core stands up to torque and keeps your lines true. It’s the kind of plastic that makes you want to throw one more shot — just because it feels that good.

First Runs Drop Soon
We’ve done a couple of small test runs before — available only through our Factory Store — but now we’re ready to take it global. Our upcoming worldwide release for Project Grip will include three different molds; Grace, Rive and Brave. Compared to the standard Grand plastic, you can expect slightly less stable flights.

More Coming
This is just the beginning. We’re still dialing in which molds make the most of this blend — but so far, the test results have been very promising. Until then, we hope you get the chance to feel these in your hands. Let us know what you think when you do.

Best Regards,
The Latitude 64° R&D Team
