Great news! Latitude 64° and Kristin Tattar has signed a four-year deal. This deal is worth half a million dollars, which makes Kristin Tattar one of the best paid disc golfers in the world. “And rightfully so. Latitude 64° and all the crew here are excited about this extended cooperation”, says Latitude 64° CEO David Berglund.
Estonian Kristin Tattar started playing disc golf back in 2014, and she quickly found the competitive side of the game. By 2015 she was already the best in Estonia, and by 2019 she won her first Major title at the United States Women’s Disc Golf Championship.
“She is a world class athlete, passionate, dedicated, and with a world class personality. Kristin has been with Latitude 64° since 2017, and we are thrilled to continue the journey with her”, says David Berglund.
Kristin already had a contract for 2022, but the new deal will take effect immediately. This means that we will see more of Kristin Tattar at the big events in 2022. You will definitely see her play in Las Vegas in February, the first DGPT event of 2022.
“I am ready to play and tour more in the US, all the big tournaments are there. So when Latitude 64 gave me the opportunity to commit even more to disc golf it was a no-brainer. I’m happy and grateful to be able to play disc golf for a living, it means everything to me”, Kristin Tattar says.
For the last couple of days Kristin has visited the Latitude 64° Factory in Sweden to sign the contract. She also guest stars on two upcoming Latitude 64 Youtube episodes (be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss those). We can’t share everything that we have been working on, but there are definitely some cool things in the works.
Thanks for the visit, Kristin, and best of luck in the upcoming season.
