FAQ

Yes, the Jade is the natural successor to the Diamond. It offers a bit more speed and a slightly more stable finish, making it perfect for players whose arm speed has increased and who need a disc that can handle more power while still being easy to throw.

Opto Air utilizes our premium, highly durable Opto plastic but introduces micro-bubbles into the plastic matrix to significantly reduce the overall weight of the disc. This advanced lightweight design allows players with slower arm speeds to generate more snap and achieve a much faster release. It is the absolute perfect choice for developing players, juniors, or anyone looking to effortlessly push their drives past the 100m / 330ft mark with less physical effort.

Yes. Because Opto Air discs are lighter, they require significantly less energy to reach their full intended flight path. This naturally results in a slightly more understable flight and massive glide compared to their heavier counterparts. While they are exceptional tools for effortless distance in calm conditions or massive tailwind bombs, players should be aware that their lighter weight makes them slightly more susceptible to being pushed off-line by stiff headwinds.

Lightweight disc golf driver praised by beginners and experienced players. Customers said it's "perfect for learning driving" and flies "long and true for those with slower arm speed." Most appreciated its consistent flight path and ease of control. One customer noted initial distance concerns, possibly due to weight or break-in period needed.

Easy to use, consistently flies steady regardless of throw technique
Flies long and true for those with slower arm speed

Jade 145-149g Opto Air

Bought as a distance driver for low speed hand beginner. Her favorite disc so far. Natural s-curve with minimal effort - for higher speeds keeps turning and turning. Quite soft with very nice feeling.

Initial Use Not Positive for Me

Initial use is not what I hoped for. I have another non L64 with same flight numbers, and the Jade does not not fly true to values versus the other. Not getting the distance I had hoped for. Could be weight is a bit to low, or maybe with time and break-in.

perfect for learning

this disc is perfect for learning driving, because it shows directly your progress in nose and hyzer angle, if it flies straight or turns directly

Perfect as always

Lost one.. so need a new nice one..perfect as always

Love the Jade Opto Air

I'm a beginner and find the Jade Opto Air to be easy to use. Regardless of how I through this disc it always seems to consistently fly steady, with few exceptions and then only because of my poor technique.

Love the opto air!!

Excellent discs.

Great disc

Great lightweight fairway driver

Flies long and true for those with slower arm speed

Opto Air Jade

Easy Distance

Playing for 6 Weeks now so the light weight seems to really help me to get it working as planned, had some nice flight paths and it helped me to some birdies.
Love to throw it.

As expected

Flippy, light weight, easy to throw. Exactly as advertised. Another good disc from Latitude :)

I bag 3 Jades

I have 3 Jades that I bag and the Jade is my go to driver. The Jade fits my arm speed perfectly. I'm a lefty backhand player and when I need to turn the shot to the left I use my beat in Jade. When I want it to go straight then I'll use the newer one. I'll just keep buying Jades as long as they keep making them.

Easy to use driver

I have played for some years and strived to find a good driver. This is the best driver I have had so far, even though this differs from player to player. In my case, I can through it a pretty long distance, still with good controle.
